Here's Why Taylor Swift's New Haircut Could Signify A New Era: Revisit Her Major Style Milestones
Taylor Swift has that red lip, classic thing that Travis Kelce likes.
While it’s the Kansas City Chiefs tight end who is teaming up with Tommy Hilfiger for their Fall 2026 campaign, he admitted that he has been taking notes from the Grammy winner when it comes to cultivating his fashion sense.
“I love that Tay’s always authentically herself with every look,” Kelce told Vogue in an interview published Sept. 1. “Whether we’re hanging with some friends or just us two on a fun night out for dinner, she’s always effortless, elegant and beautiful.”
And Kelce doesn’t find it all a nightmare when Swift experiments with dressing like all sorts of daydreams.
“She’s not afraid of unique patterns or bold colors,” Kelce continued. “She’s just timeless and classy in everything she steps out in.”
It might not be long hair slicked back and a white T-shirt, but Kelce’s also got his own personal flair thanks to studying stylish athletes that came before him.
“My style interest started when I was a kid, through my love for sports,” he continued. “The basketball shoes, the Ken Griffey Jr.’s, even Wayne Gretzky’s style in the late ’90s, when he teamed up with Nike. There are so many athletes I could name. Deion Sanders is another. He had so much swagger in how he dressed and presented himself.”
It was watching the former athletes experiment that led Kelce to step out in everything from shredded jeans to a ‘70s inspired orange Amiri suit for the Super Bowl in 2025.
“I’m a bit of a chameleon, you know?” Kelce posited. “I kind of take bits and pieces from everybody and everything that I see, and just kind of change things around depending on which situation I’m in and what event I’m going to.”

Swift, meanwhile, has proven to love high-fashion brands like Oscar De La Renta, Versace, and of course Jonathan Anderson’s Dior—which both she and Kelce wore for their wedding day.
But the “Karma” singer is just as likely to step out in more affordable brands like Reformation and Staud. And while she previously curated a line for her Lover era alongside Stella McCartney, the Grammy winner isn’t all that interested in fashion beyond what’s in her own closet.
“I really love my job right now,” she told Vogue in 2019 on the prospect of diving further into fashion. “My focus is on music."
