Rivers: ADC alleges plot to rig 2027 elections, links varsity VC

The Rivers State chapter of the African Democratic Congress (ADC) has alleged that a plot is underway to manipulate the upcoming elections, pointing to individuals associated with the "Rainbow Coalition," including Professor Princewill Chike, the Vice Chancellor of the University of Port Harcourt (UNIPORT).

In a video clip viewed by DAILY POST, Chizy Enyi, the Publicity Secretary for the ADC in Rivers State, claimed that the Vice Chancellor is a member of the Rainbow Coalition. The coalition is a cross-party socio-political movement established by Nyesom Wike, the Minister of the Federal Capital Territory.

According to the ADC spokesperson, there are indications that the Vice Chancellor, who he claimed has publicly identified with the coalition, will nominate returning officers for the next election.
