Nigerian striker Joseph Arumala has completed a transfer to Egyptian Premier League side Al Ittihad from Nigeria Premier Football League (NPFL) outfit Ikorodu City, according to a report by Daily Post.
The young forward established himself as a crucial asset for the Lagos-based "Oga Boys" after joining the club ahead of the 2025/26 season. Known for his direct running and sharp goalscoring instincts, Arumala quickly became a favorite among the team's supporters.
During the previous NPFL campaign, Arumala stood out as one of the league's top performers, netting 13 goals. Despite his strong individual showing, Ikorodu City narrowly missed out on qualifying for continental competition after finishing fourth in the league standings.
