Nepal races to rescue trapped workers, as flood death toll surpasses 900

Rescue teams in Nepal, supported by specialists from China and India, are working urgently to reach more than 900 workers feared trapped in underground tunnels at hydropower sites following catastrophic flash floods. On Monday, Nepalese officials confirmed that efforts are focused on clearing mud and rock debris blocking approximately a dozen hydropower project tunnels.

The disaster, triggered by a glacial collapse on Wednesday
