Reality television star Luann de Lesseps opened up about her boyfriend Michael Riemerschmid's reaction to filming alongside her long-time co-stars for their new series, The Golden Life. Speaking exclusively to E! News' The Rundown host Erin Lim Rhodes at the show's Oct. 14 premiere in New York City, the 61-year-old shared that Riemerschmid was caught off guard by the group's energetic dynamic.
De Lesseps revealed that Riemerschmid, her boyfriend of nearly three years, was surprised by costars Sonja Morgan, Ramona Singer, Dorinda Medley, and Kelly Bensimon, noting he was shocked by
“how forward they were and how cougar they are”toward him.
Ahead of his arrival in Florida, de Lesseps recalled preparing him for the encounter.
“Those girls came on,”she told E! News.
“When Michael came to Palm Beach, I said, ‘Sonja—I'm sure she's going to be into you for sure.’ Watch out for Sonja.”
Despite the warnings, de Lesseps insisted she harbored no jealousy regarding her partner interacting with her castmates.
