In what specific ways are the Igbo’s said to be marginalized?

Politics isn’t charity or automatic rotation it’s competition. If a group chooses not to align, organize, or build influence within major political structures, can leadership simply be handed over to them? Is Nigeria a scheduled rotation system or a competitive democracy?

Even history shows how complex it is: MKO Abiola, a Southerner, still won significant support in the North including Kano because he built political bridges and played the game effectively.

That raises an uncomfortable question: is marginalization always the only explanation, or sometimes a reflection of political strategy and participation?
