‘Love Island USA' Star Trinity Tatum Addresses Rumor She Was Kicked Out of Season 8 Reunion
Another season of Love Island USA will crack on next summer.
The fan-favorite dating experiment was renewed for a ninth season by Peacock, as this year's hot and heavy competition comes to a close.
"Following a record-breaking summer," the network said in an Aug. 26 press release, "Peacock announced a season nine renewal of the hit cultural phenomenon Love Island USA."
As for whether Ariana Madix will return to Fiji, the statement added, "Emmy-nominated host Ariana Madix set to return."
The beloved Vanderpump Rules personality herself hinted that her role in the Villa was secured earlier this month following rumors she could be departing the gig.
"I do [see that]. And obviously I can’t speak yet to what’s going to be happening next season,” the 42-year-old told Us Weekly. “We did announce already that I will be hosting Love Island Games next year.”
Peacock also previously confirmed the return of Beyond the Villa's third iteration, in addition to the challenge-focused spinoff.
But before fans can start exploring with the upcoming series, a first look at season eight's highly anticipated Aug. 31 reunion, co-hosted by Andy Cohen, promises to bring the heat in the meantime.
Indeed, a sneak preview seemingly affirmed speculation of a fallout between Islanders Kenzie Annis and Melanie Moreno. Amid a tense exchange, Kenzie stopped mid-sentence to tell Melanie, "You just rolled your eyes," to which Melanie responded, "Yeah."
And that wasn't the only head-to-head Melanie is set to face in the special. She also shares a moment with Sol Dean, who dated Melanie's partner Sincere Rhea during her stint in Fiji.
"You're just a liar," Melanie is seen saying to Sol before adding, "I'm sorry."
"It's not about you right now," Sol clapped back, yelling, "It's about me and my experience," at her castmate, whom she also appeared to call "an antagonist."

Aniya Harvey and Carl Schmidt sat side by side on the reunion stage, even joking about their connection's maintained strength.
As Ariana questioned whether Carl could "handle" Aniya in terms of sexual chemistry, the 23-year-old quipped, "I fear he can."
In addition, KC Chandler and Tierra "Titi" Davis presented a united front in the hot seat, while Melanie and Sincere were also sat next to each other, though the teaser withheld any glimpse of their current relationship dynamic.
