The Islamic advocacy group Muslim Rights Concern (MURIC) has voiced its strong support for a legislative proposal initiated by the Federal Road Safety Corps (FRSC) that aims to ban preaching and hawking inside commercial vehicles.
In a statement released to DAILY POST on Saturday, MURIC’s Executive Director, Professor Ishaq Akintola, described the proposed bill, which is currently before the National Assembly, as a positive step toward establishing order inside public transport.
